The Navy Reserve Captain and Former NASA Chief of Staff Outraised Mills By Over a 4:1 Ratio For The Second Quarter In A Row
Sanford, FL – For the second quarter in a row, Bale Dalton outraised Congressman Cory Mills by over a 4:1 ratio. In the first three months of the year, Dalton brought in over $345,000, ending the quarter with over $460,000 in cash on hand.
Rep. Mills — who faces calls for expulsion from Republicans and Democrats in Congress as a result of a wide-ranging ethics investigation into his conduct — raised only $74,490 in the first three months of the year. He ended the quarter with $115,511 on hand, after spending over $30,000 on legal fees. Mills continues to owe over $2 million dollars in campaign debt, as of March 31st.
Dalton also outraised Congressman Cory Mills by over a 5:1 margin in the final quarter of 2025. He has continued to earn the support of notable Florida leaders, including former Sen. Bill Nelson, former U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy, Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14), and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
“Central Florida urgently needs a representative who will stand against Washington corruption and work to make life affordable again,” Dalton’s Campaign Manager MG Darmody said. “Congressman Mills is using his campaign to pay for his legal fees, even while he tries to outrun an ethics investigation. Meanwhile, Bale has proven time and time again that he is ready to take on this fight for hardworking families and deliver for Central Florida in November.”
ABOUT BALE DALTON:
Bale Dalton is a decorated Navy Reserve Captain and former NASA Chief of Staff who has always answered the call to serve America. One of four raised in a hardworking Central Florida family, Bale graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and has served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve for 23 years. He deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and the Pacific, flying Navy helicopters and directing air combat support with Navy SEALs in Afghanistan.
Following active duty, he worked for Senator Bill Nelson, helping Florida veterans access the care and benefits they had earned. After an additional stint on active duty, Bale returned to government service as NASA Chief of Staff. At NASA, he managed 16,500 employees and helped run one of the federal government’s most effective agencies.
After a lifetime of service, Bale is now running against Congressman Cory Mills in Florida’s 7th Congressional District. Mills is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for sexual misconduct, dating violence, and for improperly profiting from arms sales in government contracts. In October, a Florida judge issued a restraining order against Cory Mills, to protect his ex-girlfriend from blackmail and intimidation.
